I’m happy to report that all team members test results are back negative for COVID-19 virus, and with the exception of the team member who called in yesterday confirming that he was infected, everybody is fine and work will resume on Monday.
Once again we are grateful for the fast turnaround and the attention received by the health care professionals.

Today COVID-19 paid CGC a visit, and by 6:15 am we had lost one entire slip forming crew and its support staff. All it took was one concrete finisher testing positive to wreak havoc on one of our projects.
All crew members were sent home and schedule for testing, fortunately a total of fourteen appointments were available and by early afternoon they were all tested. We pray for our team members health, and CGC is grateful for the health care professionals working the frontline.

Since the pandemic started, out of sheer necessity CGC started conducting our weekly progress/coordination meetings remotely using the Zoom app. It’s a more practical and cost effective way to get things done, and I think it’s here to stay. Thank you COVID-19!!!!
