Kristin Olenchok of NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and Sophia Echevarria of UMC Free Clinic have been awarded first place in the Case Report Presentation category at the 31st Annual Family Practice Review & Reunion Conference held in Dayton, Ohio. Representing their research team with distinction, they received the top award among students, residents, and fellows. Demonstrating their dedication to the community, they intend to donate the $1,000 prize to UMC Free Clinic to support ongoing patient care. This achievement marks a notable moment for the entire team.

Natera genetic screening provided free screenings and services for Hereditary Cancers and Chronic Illness through genetic screening for patients at UMC Free Clinic.

As we say goodbye to 2025, we reflect with gratitude on another year of service and outreach through our health fairs, reaching over a thousand patients across underserved communities in South Florida.

Our final health fair of the year was held at Lotus House Miami—a meaningful way to close the year.

We are deeply grateful to our volunteer physicians, medical students, and community partners whose dedication made this year truly impactful.
