📚 Did you know that Reading is a powerful brain exercise?

Research shows that reading regularly supports cognitive function by strengthening memory, attention, and critical thinking skills. These mental activities help stimulate neural networks and maintain cognitive engagement over time.

Even a few minutes of reading each day can challenge the brain, promote learning, and support long-term brain health.

Research from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine suggests that frequent consumption of diet soda may be linked to a higher risk of dementia. In a long-term study led by researcher Hannah Gardener and colleagues, including Tatjana Rundek, scientists found that each additional diet soda per day was associated with a higher risk of developing dementia over time. While the findings don’t prove cause and effect, they highlight how everyday dietary choices may play a role in long-term brain health. Choosing water or other unsweetened beverages may be a simple step toward protecting your brain🧠.

From childhood memories to lifelong support systems, siblings often help shape how we think, learn, and connect with others. Strong social bonds, like those with brothers and sisters, can support emotional well-being and help buffer stress.

Today’s brain health reminder: take a moment to reconnect with a sibling or someone who feels like family. A quick call, message, or shared memory can brighten your day—and theirs.

Share a favorite sibling memory! 💙🧠

😴🏃‍♀️What if the answer is both?

New research from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine shows that combining quality sleep and regular exercise can deliver greater health benefits than either alone—including improved metabolism, reduced inflammation, and stronger brain function.

🧠 Together, they help support the brain processes that keep us thinking, learning, and performing at our best.

🌸🧠 Spring is here—and so is a boost for your brain.

Longer daylight, more time outdoors, and increased social connection can all support mood, focus, and overall brain health.

In fact, exposure to natural light helps regulate your circadian rhythm and may improve sleep—one of the most important factors for cognitive performance.
