In celebration of Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week, we are on Tony Ospina, Administrator, for his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to resident-centered care.
Tony has been an Administrator since 2016 and has proudly been part of the Marquis family since 2021. However, his journey in long-term care began back in 2004 at West Gables, where he first came to complete his high school community service hours.
He spent much of that time simply sitting with residents, having casual conversations, and quickly realized how many of them had no visitors. Tony made it his mission to seek out those residents and ensure they felt seen and valued. In 2011, Tony came back to West Gables and worked in Admissions, eventually beginning his AIT program and earning his Nursing Home Administrator license in 2016.
“I stayed in the field and became an Administrator because of the positive impact we make on our residents’ lives. It’s a rewarding career, and I’m proud to be able to improve someone’s life. Passion is what truly drives and motivates me to continue in this role. Throughout my career, I’ve been able to create meaningful connections with residents and family members. As an Administrator, I have even been able to provide care to my parents at West Gables. That in itself is the ultimate reward.”
We're proud to have such a dedicated leader. Join us in thanking Tony Ospina for his commitment to exceptional long-term care!
