Raise your hand if you’re a Nurse 🙋♀️.
Keep it raised if you’re a nurse who is ALSO a MOM & a Staffing Agency owner or a Homecare Agency owner🙋♀️.
Now, let me share a story that might resonate with you… 👇
I once worked with a nurse who was pregnant and worried about launching her newly established staffing agency.
She was rushing to launch her business and wrap everything up BEFORE giving birth.
When I asked why she was so concerned, she admitted she thought clients wouldn’t take her seriously if she was breastfeeding during meetings or calls.
Let me be VERY clear about this 👇🏽.
And I say this with love for all professions.
But not for outdated mindsets ❌.
The old systems have made us believe that nurses—or women in general—can’t balance work and motherhood.
That you can’t lead a team or grow a business while breastfeeding.
That taking care of patients or clients and being a mom can’t coexist.
This way of thinking is outdated, and I’m here to remind all my nurse mamas and soon-to-be moms that you can do both.
✨ You can be an amazing mom and build a thriving business.
✨ You can breastfeed while mentoring your team or hosting calls.
✨ You can give birth and return to work on your terms.
✨ You’re not “too career-driven” or a bad mom if you crave getting back to your goals soon after giving birth.
If that’s what feels right for you, then you get to make the rules.
There’s no “perfect mom” police.
You create your own standards and support yourself fully.
After I coached this nurse, she found the peace of mind and freedom she needed to slow down and trust her timeline.
And because she approached her business with that ease, she created amazing results.
So, to all my nurse mamas and future moms, this is your reminder: you belong here.
You deserve to thrive as a nurse, a business owner, and a mother—and you can do it all.
If I can you can 👌
