Not all wearable diagnostic platforms are created equal—and now there’s data to prove it.
In a new breakdown of a major systematic review published in Vision, Dr. Mark Dunbar of Bascom Palmer Eye Institute walks through what the evidence actually shows about commercially available VR-based visual field devices. The review analyzed 19 studies to evaluate clinical validity, diagnostic performance, and technical design across multiple headsets, helping clinicians cut through a crowded and confusing market with an evidence-based framework for decision-making.
