Physical healing after restriction can feel just as intense as the mental and emotional work.

Bloating.
Nausea.
Strong cravings.

Common symptoms that once made me want to go back to eating less because it felt easier than pushing through.

Understanding that there are ways to support the body through the healing process by choosing foods intentionally, made the biggest difference in helping me feel safe with food again.

Healing is not about forcing yourself to eat.
It’s about supporting your body in a way that turns down the fear.

I know it’s not easy.
But you can feel good in your body.

Hunger isn’t a bad thing when you focus on whole, fresh, water-rich plant foods 🌱🍍🍋

Your body isn’t sabotaging you, it’s giving you information that it needs more food -
whether that’s for energy, building hormones, repairing muscle tissue… there’s so much going on beneath the surface that you don’t see.

Hunger isn’t the enemy.
Lack of nourishment is.

It’s eating disorder awareness week.
A week that’s so important to me as someone who lost 13 years to this illness - and almost my life. And who now can say that life without an ED is the best, happiest, and most beautiful thing 🤍

If you’ve ever been there, you know the agony you live through day by day, feeling like it’s never going to get better, like there’s no way out.

If you’re reading this and restriction seems like the only way:

It’s not.

Feeling good in your body doesn’t come from eating less.
It comes from learning how to nourish it properly.

Recovery is possible.

If you want to get lean and toned without restriction:

👉🏻 center your meals around high-volume foods
(fruits & vegetables)
👉🏻 use denser foods like nuts, seeds, dried fruit, or
cooked food as an add-on

Most women aren’t over-eating because they lack discipline, it’s because they’re under-eating nutritionally.
So they end up: stuck between restriction and cravings.

The way out of that cycle is to understand how to truly work with your body, so results can come naturally.

EAT MORE FOOD

You don’t need to push harder to get the body you want.

I was that person who tried every diet, forced myself to workout for five hours a day, always added more rules to my already draining routine.

And I just couldn’t get the lean, toned body I wanted.

That only changed when I decided to focus on feeling good instead of just “being skinny”.
Understanding what foods actually work with the human body, eating consistently, and finding movement I love.

Feeling good about what you see in the mirror starts with creating safety on the inside - and trusting that consistency beats control every time. 🤍
