In the critical moments after a traumatic brain injury, protecting the brain can mean the difference between recovery and long-term damage. New research introduces an intranasal nanodrug approach that cools the brain directly, lowering brain temperature while leaving the rest of the body unaffected.
Designed for speed and precision, this work points to a future where neuroprotection could begin immediately, even before a patient reaches the hospital. 🧠 Learn more: https://loom.ly/uolh0ak

The Miller School team developed a nanodrug platform for targeted therapeutic hypothermia after traumatic brain injury.
