In 2015 while living in France my body crashed after using “normal” products my whole life. My body finally went into toxic overload and my estrogen levels raised leading to migraines, depression, chemical sensitivity, and energy depletion. Doctors put me on progesterone but I knew that there was an underlying issue that needed to be addressed and so instead of taking pharmaceuticals I decided to figure it out myself.
I dove into learning Ayurveda, and holistic healing becoming a Women’s Natural Healing Arts Teacher in the process of learning how to heal myself.
The healing and hormonal balance came from deepening my self care which included more time in nature, following an Ayurvedic diet of nourishing foods for my dosha, breathwork, meditation, and completely getting rid of chemicals in the house and making my own products.
I actually loved every part of it. I loved the creativity of it. I loved growing my own roses for teas and rose water. My own herbs for tinctures, teas and for cooking.
Not only did I love doing it but it only took me 6 months to completely heal myself naturally.
I left this recipe in the reel for you. I also made my face oil that I’ll be sharing with you in a later post. Just make sure that you are using organic oils and being careful about what essential oils you use. I only use doterra.
