Yes. Taking the progesterone your doctor prescribed *MIGHT* help you conceive and hold onto a pregnancy...
(although, I’ve heard from so many women who have tried this for months and still didn’t get pregnant).

But, ultimately you are NOT “fixing” sh*t this way.
Your body isn’t producing enough progesterone on its own for a reason.

Are you really just going to ignore it and take a supplement temporarily? Only to continue having the same problem again after you have your baby??

Low progesterone = irregular cycles, painful
periods, insomnia, headaches, anxiety, depression, low s3x drive, ovarian cysts, trouble conceiving (again) and recurring miscarriages.

You don’t need another round of hormone testing to get pregnant naturally…

You need to understand the signals your body’s been giving you this whole time.

But here’s what almost every TTC client tells me on our very first call:

She fills out a detailed questionnaire about her cycles and symptoms beforehand.

“My doctor said my progesterone is normal… but Dr.Google says it’s low.”

You’re confused because a progesterone level of X on Cycle Day Y means nothing without context.

Progesterone is supposed to be low in the menstrual & follicular phase.

It only rises after ovulation, peaks mid-luteal, and falls again right before your period (if your hormones are functioning as they should lol)

This is why testing progesterone once — without knowing if and when you ovulated — tells you nothing about whether your progesterone is actually “low.”

To determine whether you’re producing enough progesterone to conceive & support a healthy pregnancy, you also need to know:

IF YOU ARE OVULATING AND WHEN.

For example, someone shared with me that she tested progesterone on CD 23.

But, CD 23 could be mid-luteal phase OR late luteal phase depending on the length of her cycles and WHEN ovulation occurred.

If her cycle was 25 days long, CD 23 would be late luteal phase. If it was 30 days long, it might be mid-luteal DEPENDING ON WHEN OVULATION OCCURRED.

“Cait, you lost me….”

Exactly. LOL 😂 
This is why I say you’re complicating your life with sh*t like this.

Because your body is already telling you what’s happening hormonally — through:
☁️ your cycle length
☁️ the day you ovulate
☁️ your luteal phase length
☁️ your cervical mucus patterns & BBT
☁️ your symptoms like PMS, mid-cycle spotting, light periods, anxiety, insomnia, etc

You don’t need labs to tell you what’s off — you need to know how to read your body’s signs.

So stop spiraling over numbers on a lab report your doctor insists are “normal” when deep down you know they don’t match how your body feels.

You’re having trouble conceiving for a REASON.

Lets figure out the root-cause together and build a lifestyle that will support your hormones and give your body exactly what it needs to conceive & sustain a healthy pregnancy.

you’ve been TTC for MONTHSSSS and you’re
emotionally & mentally drained at this point - from trying it alll….

testing, taking progesterone, p*eing on strips, forcing s*x, & preparing yourself to spend a sh*t ton on IVF treatments.

You’ve always been a f*cking go-getter..

You know, the one that probably “cares too much” (IYKYK) 😅

So you’ve always been good at everything because you TRY to be good at everything…

But you’ve been TRYING to make a baby for months now & it’s just not fcking happening for you (yet).

You’re doing all the thang a langs:
✨tracking your cycles with your Oura ring…
☁️p*eing on LH strips to catch ovulation…
✨taking the high-quality prenatal, COQ10, Magnesium, & Vitamin D,…
☁️having more protein at breakfast & caffeine after eating…

And still every cycle ends the same way — with no baby and a growing sense of shame.

Your brain is starting to whisper:

My approach to supplements?

For one thing…
I work WITH my clients. We’re a team.
Yes I make recommendations. I give my honest opinions. But, ultimately it’s YOUR body.
And YOU need to feel good about the approach.

That being said…
You won’t catch me recommending supplements out of thin fcking air because in Holisticaited Land, we don’t do generic coaching.

we’re looking at the FULL PICTURE —
what symptoms are you experiencing?
what do your cycles look like?
what’s your basal body temp & cervical mucus showing us?
what’s your diet look like?
how are we adjusting the way you’re eating based on everything we know?
etc etc etc

Also, DIET will always take the cake.
In Holisticaited Land, what you’re eating, how you’re eating it, & how your body is absorbing it will always be prioritized over a supplement protocol.

Because without a solid foundation of eating habits that support your hormones, those supplements are just expensive p*e 😂

Instead of being focused on what supplements to take so you can improve egg quality, increase progesterone, ovulate consistently, boost fertility, regulate your cycle, etc etc etc…
