✨👩🏼‍🎓 14 years ago & a lifelong mission, from graduation to purpose ✨

This was 2011, the year I earned my Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis. I had no idea then how much this field would shape my life, my heart, and my future.

Just two years later, in 2013, Heal the World Behavioral Services was born 🩵 What started as a dream turned into a mission: to support children, empower families, and build a place rooted in compassion, growth, and evidence-based care.

Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful for the journey, the lessons learned, the challenges, and the purpose that continues to guide everything we do at HTW.

🇻🇪💛💙❤️ This moment. This flag. This child. 🇻🇪💛💙❤️

Today, Venezuela is being recognized on the world stage for peace ☮️ Maria Corina Machado has been awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize, and as a Venezuelan, this moment fills my heart with pride and hope.

Holding our flag with this little Venezuelan too reminds me why we keep believing in a future rooted in compassion, dignity, and resilience.

Proud to be Venezuelan. Even prouder to help raise a generation that believes in peace. ✨🇻🇪

✨🎄 The holidays have officially started at HTW!🎄✨

Our helped decorate the tree, choosing colors, placing ornaments, and even adding the star on top 🌟

Small moments, big milestones ❤️

This time of year reminds us how grateful we are for our incredible team, our families, and the joy our little ones bring to the center every day.

After a much-needed Thanksgiving break, our kids jumped right back into learning…and today’s activity was all about connection, communication, and teamwork ✨

We used a word-building game to strengthen:

🔤 Literacy skills (letter recognition, spelling, sequencing)
💬 Expressive language & communication
🤝 Social skills (turn-taking, waiting, sharing)
🧠 Cognitive flexibility & problem-solving

What we love most is watching how joy and growth happen at the same time. When learning feels fun, confidence blooms, and these moments remind us why we do what we do.

Today we celebrated a Thanksgiving lunch with some of our incredible HTW team members 🧡

I’m so grateful for this group, for their dedication, their kindness, and the love they bring to our kiddos and families every single day. Heal The World wouldn’t be what it is without the heart each of them pours into our sessions.

Thank you for showing up with patience, compassion, creativity, and teamwork… and for making even the busiest days feel meaningful. I’m blessed to walk this journey with such a special team.

🧡 So grateful for moments like these 🥰

Since school was closed, we got a special visit at the center today, and I loved having her back in my office for our little “Cucu-and-me” time again💛

These smiles remind me just how BLESSED we are to work with kiddos who brighten our days in countless ways.

Grateful every day, but especially this season 🍂✨

⚽️ Tuesday: Jersey Day brought out everyone’s team spirit!
🧦 Wednesday: Crazy socks and wild hair made the day extra silly!
🏰 Thursday: Disney Day was pure magic, with smiles all around!

From crayons to dinosaurs, cowgirls, superheroes and some hot dogs, today’s celebration was filled with creativity, laughter, and teamwork!

We love seeing our shine through imagination while learning that being yourself is the brightest color of all! 💙
