Dr. Vasquez’s motivation is driven by his passion to teach and to spread the knowledge with others. That is his non-stop journey in life.
“Living life with true passion and combining knowledge with artistry….its what its all about!”
Having artistry in his genes from his ancestors, he found that dentistry was the integration between the medical science and craftsmanship. He said: “ I could have n
ever chosen a better profession for my life. I always focused in cosmetic dentistry because I admire beauty and that’s what I always thought of reproducing. But that’s why I consider that knowledge has no limit and that’s when I decided to move to the USA in 2001”. Where he realized that being a dentist is not only about maintaining the dental health of patients, he knew there was much more involved than just the mouth. He realized there were other needs and as time went by, the methods , techniques, and different treatments emerged and improved. He became involved with Neuromuscular dentistry in 2002 at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental studies. Dr. Vasquez finished all the curriculum at LVI as a dentist and as a master technician. He also finished all 7 levels at Occlusion Connection , institute lead by Dr. Clayton Chan. He has been trained in Neuromuscular dentistry by the biggest authorities for the past 12 years. Dr. Vasquez also received his Fellowship in Research from ICCMO ( International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics) in 2009 in Japan and his Mastership in 2010 in Arizona. Dr. Vasquez has continued to seek his training all over the world fine tuning his skills and discovering new ways to help pain patients. He strongly believes that knowledge is infinite and the limit is the mind, and has concentrated his training in the areas of : Craniocervical stability and the relation with mandibular trajectory , functional orthopedics and Neuromuscular rehabilitation. His clinical approach combines a multidisciplinary treatment and planning that involves the importance of full body posture , cranio analysis , cervical analysis. He also did a new study based in the effect of chewing cycles on the stability of atlas – axis. Dr. Vasquez is a highly motivated leader. For the last 10 years he has been doing studies on craniofacial pain. Dr. Vasquez is also national and international speaker in different subjects mostly related with Neuromuscular dentistry , Full Mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry. He has published several articles in different magazines and has been doing digital dentistry ( CAD/ CAM) for over 10 years with the Cerec system by Sirona .
“Over the years I found that dental technology, indeed , was the final complement in my life. Since then, I have been seeking more training, more information, and knowledge. I have been honored to receive training from the best such as Mr. Willi Geller who honored me by inviting me to become part of the Oral Design Family. I love life and I am blessed to have my mom alive, to have the most amazing wife that anyone can dream of , a beautiful baby on the way and my two beautiful dogs ( my girls) . I love the freedom when I’m fighting the wind riding my bike ! it relaxes my spirit and lets me fly with my dreams! For 10 years I have been a witness of Sirona’s CAD-CAM evolution from chair side and from laboratory side. Whatever we dreamt 10 years ago, is a FACT today. The capabilities of technology are a fact and are available for us to use it. Technology besides milling my crowns and bridges , supports the proper planning for my cases. I love to have the control of each case. Inlab has all the tools and visualization models to plan an ideal progression of a case. The system has ideal standards but the limit is your creativity!”
