Our Story
For the last 10 years, Borinquen’s outpatient substance abuse program known as STOPP has successfully reduced substance use among African Americans and Hispanics and provided access to HIV care. The staff is committed to making a positive impact in the community and improving the lives of those living in Miami Dade County. Borinquen’s STOPP program offers services in English and Spanish:
Substance Abuse & Mental Health Counseling Group Counseling:Early Recovery Skills, Relapse Prevention, Mindfulness, Family Education Community Outreach Services High Risk Prevention and Education Counseling HIV and Hepatitis Counseling and Testing Drug Testing Ryan White Case Management Psychiatry Linkage To Detox and Residential Treatment
And a variety of other Medical Services.
