Everyone is always worried about scarring after surgery. The truth is that everyone heals differently, but there are things you can do to help improve the visibility of scars. One of the options I recommend is using the Ogee Scar Gel along with the Ogee Scar Strips. This combination is powerful in helping improve the appearance of scars over time. Use the scar gel in the morning and the scar strips at night. Stay consistent with this routine for a full year, and you’ll be able to see noticeable results.

Dr William Miami

Karl William Schwarz, MD is a Duke University trained plastic surgeon and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He currently has hospital privileges at Westchester Hospital in Miami. He has 10 years of surgical training, and over 12 years of experience in plastic surgery. Dr William is laser focused on a single mission: to make you look and feel like your very best self. This single desire for excellence has driven Dr William to limit his practice to focus on the breast and body. "By limiting the number of procedures I perform, and dedicating my practice to cosmetic surgery of the breast and body, I have been able to achieve the very best results for my patients". --Dr William

Dr. William was born and raised in Canada and has been married for 25 years and has three teenage sons the oldest of which is beginning college in Washington, DC. His boys are active in academics and lacrosse and in their community through volunteering with Habitat for Humanity..

He was encouraged to become a physician by his father's oncologist following his father's diagnosis with cancer that ultimately claimed his father's life. Although initially he was interested in Hematology and Cancer research, he decided to pursue a career in plastic surgery after witnessing the remarkable transformation in a young child during a cleft lip repair.

Dr William works at 305 Plastic Surgery in Miami where he specializes in cosmetic surgery of the Breast and Body.
