Dr. Seixas is pleased to announce the creation of MILADS, our Data Science Agent designed to provide researchers and data scientists with a unique thought partner that supports the entire research life cycle from ideation to impact. They unveiled this last December to our scholars in the NIH training program at PRIME. This project was a labor of love, engineered by Dr. Seixas friend, Dwayne Henclewood, Ph.D., and they delivered an entire week of training.

Dr. Seixas extends his gratitude to Google, especially Trey Johnson, for their support and congratulates Girardin Jean-Louis, Dr. Debbie Chung, Dr. Indu Ayappa, Dr. T. Rundek, and Ferdinand Z**i for their leadership in making this a reality.

Something special is happening in Miami regarding technology, and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is establishing itself as a leader in this region. New research led by Dr. Azizi Seixas, Ph.D., and Girardin Jean-Louis, Ph.D., examines how digital tools can help parents support healthier sleep in early childhood. The review found that many interventions improved sleep duration, night wakings and bedtime routines, pointing to the growing role of digital health in pediatric care. Dr. Sexias will also be one of our esteemed faculty for our Living Legends 2026 course in April!
