Things I stopped doing after a decade of working in health and coaching clients:

• forcing workouts after bad sleep
• drinking coffee on an empty stomach
• using hand sanitizer
• running all day without eating
• ignoring how stress shows up in the body

Stress doesn’t just live in the mind, it shows up physically through the nervous system.

Anxiety, moodiness, irritability, poor sleep, and digestive issues are often signals that the body is stuck in survival mode.

Health becomes much simpler when you start supporting the body instead of constantly overriding it.

Most women think the reason why they don’t have the body, energy or health they desire because of a lack of motivation or lack of time.

This couldn’t be father from the truth.

Often, the challenge is trying to build habits on a depleted body and an overloaded mind.

If you’re constantly exhausted mentally and physically - can you really blame yourself for postponing the workout or wanting to press snooze?

So when we manage mental energy, set boundaries, and give the nervous system space to regulate, consistency stops feeling like a fight.

Graceful aging and vitality isn’t actually about doing more or being harder on yourself.

It’s about getting to the root of WHY everything feels so hard, and creating space for your body to find its happy place again.

Most women stay stuck on the workout.

But your body only adapts (gets leaner, stronger, slows aging) if it has the support to recover.

How you fuel your training determines whether your body builds strength or stays stressed (& holding onto fat).

Pre-workout fuel stabilizes energy and nervous system response.

Post-workout fuel signals it’s safe to recover and repair.

Consistent meals, sleep, and recovery habits are what allow your workouts to actually work.

Workouts = stimulus.
Recovery = where change happens.

If you’re training consistently but still feel fatigued, bloated, or uncomfortable in your clothes, your recovery strategy is likely the missing piece.

Logically you probably realize that foods like rice, a steak, or butter don’t *actually* add fat onto your body..

Yet why is it that so many women continue to avoid these foods like the black plague?

What if the very way you demonize food is one of the reasons why you’re still spinning your wheels, constantly fluctuating weight, feeling tired, and feeling out of control with food?

Your fat loss, the way you process food, the way to relate to food and your body is entirely an INSIDE job.

And holding onto the belief that it’s just a food problem keeps you chained to restriction, stress and guilt around eating. You give all your power away to dieting.

Don’t get me wrong…

I love AI and use it often!

But it doesn’t regulate your nervous system.

It doesn’t assess your allostatic load. (See my feed for more on this)

It doesn’t notice when your body is asking for less instead of more.

It doesn’t help you implement change into the messiness of real life.

Most people don’t need more complex plans.

They need interpretation. Structure. And someone who actually gets it, walks the walk, and knows how to help them shift their behavior.
