Castro Pediatrics is Closing - A Heartfelt Farewell from Dr. Castro
Dear Valued Patients and Families,
With a heart full of mixed emotions, I am writing to share that our pediatric office will be closing its doors on June 30, 2025.
After much thoughtful consideration, and having had the immense privilege of practicing pediatrics since 1992, I have decided it is time for me to retire. This decision comes as I focus on my personal well-being and recovery.
Please know how deeply I have cherished the opportunity to be part of your lives, your children’s lives, and in many cases, even your grandchildren’s—caring for them from their first check-ups all the way through age 21. I have truly loved each and every one of you, and I will miss you all profoundly. It breaks my heart that I won’t have the time to say a proper goodbye to each of you individually, but please accept this message as a heartfelt farewell.
I am grateful to share that your care can continue seamlessly in the exact same office location with the wonderful Dr. Ana Hernandez-Puga. Dr. Ana is fully prepared to provide the same compassionate, high-quality care you’ve come to expect. She will also serve as the custodian of medical records for any patients who wish to request a copy of their chart after my retirement.
