I’ve been helping a 95-year-old child survivor of the Holocaust who was born in Galicia, and along the way I found two incredible resources for anyone researching Jewish families from Galicia and Bukovina.

A treasure trove of digitized records, cemetery projects, maps, and photographs that preserve the history of Jewish communities in these regions.

A collaboration with the University of Haifa offering online courses (including “Jews of Galicia: A History”), digitized Jewish periodicals, and forums for study and discussion.
