Nicklaus Children's Hospital Medical Education Our Medical Education department is dedicated to reach out to current trainees, alumni, faculty, staff, students, and applicants on news and events.

Welcome to the Medical Education Department at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital! We are a 309-bed free standing, children's hospital which is renowned for excellence in all aspects of pediatric medicine. We have more than 750 attending physicians and over 130 pediatric sub-specialists. We are home to the largest pediatric residency program in the Southeast with 84 pediatric residents. We also have fellowship programs in Adolescent Medicine, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Hospital Medicine, Allergy/Immunology, Gastroenterology, pediatric Psychiatry, Genetics, Pediatric surgery, craniofacial surgery, clinical neurophysiology, pediatric radiology, pediatric cardiac intensive care, pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric ortho-spine and pediatric urology.
