Who We Are:
Ocha Home Health Services, Corp is a community based Home Health Agency servicing the Miami Dade and Monroe Counties. Our doors have been open to our community since 2007, and Medicare Certified since 2008. Our agency is currently family owned and operated. The agency had shared controlled interest till March, 2014 when our actual President Adis D. Perez, RN, took over the 100% of the stocks of the company. Ocha Home Health is leaded by minority, by a Hispanic Woman, who has been in the Home Care business for 10 years. Ocha Home Health specializes in providing excellence quality care to people with a wide variety of medical conditions who need health care services at home. Our staff is highly qualified to perform assigned duties and tasks. We make sure every employee complies with the standards of care and the regulations established by the Department of Health, ACHA, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Ocha Home Health Services, Corp and its staff members recognize the unique physical, emotional and spiritual need of every individual. Professionalism and integrity define our staff. We strive to extend the highest level of courtesy and services to not only to our patients, but also to caregivers and family members. Our goal is to provide quality care above all. We provide holistic quality care despite race, s*x, age, nationality, s*xual orientation, economic status or religious believes. Los Asistentes de Salud en el Hogar (HHA) en Florida pueden ayudar con preparación ligera de comidas como parte de su plan de cuidado, siempre y cuando esté especificado en las instrucciones de cuidado del paciente.

Lo Que Está Permitido:
Preparar comidas ligeras y sencillas específicamente para el paciente, de acuerdo con sus necesidades dietéticas (ej. dietas para diabéticos, bajas en sodio, dietas puré, etc.).
• Calentar comidas previamente preparadas para que el paciente tenga acceso a alimentos seguros y nutritivos.
• Asistencia con la alimentación, si el paciente necesita ayuda para comer.

Lo Que No Está Permitido:
• Cocinar o preparar comidas para otros miembros del hogar o la familia.
• Proveer servicios de cocina o preparación de comidas que no estén directamente relacionados con el cuidado del paciente.
• Realizar tareas de cocina complejas o que no estén especificadas en el plan de cuidado.

Nota Importante: Los servicios de preparación de comidas deben estar enfocados exclusivamente en el paciente. Las HHAs no están obligadas a cocinar para toda la familia o realizar tareas domésticas fuera de las necesidades específicas del paciente.
