Another box full of used contact lens packs to recycle! Just a reminder that contact lenses and their packaging can be recycled but only in specialized recycling centers. At Suarez Optical, we are happy to take in your used contact lens materials to recycle. Free of charge of course.

Happy New year friends and family!!

As we embark on another year around the sun, we wanted to remind you that Suarez Optical is doing its part to be Earth conscious and green!

You may or may not know that contact lenses and their blister packs (the container they come in) can be recycled. But it has to be recycled by a specialized recycling center that accepts contact lenses.

Fortunately, Suarez Optical has partnered up with TerraCycle to recycle contact lenses. This means that you shouldn’t put your contacts in the blue bin, because they will go to a facility that cannot recycle them

So, bring in all your used contact lenses and blister packs. We will gladly take them. There is no fee for this service. Just doing our part for a healthier planet!
