✨ Teach Tournament Round 1 Recap! ✨

At UM, we know that being a great physician also means being a great educator. Our program is committed to training residents who are well-rounded clinicians, leaders, and teachers.

Round 1 of the Teach Tournament reminded us just how much we can learn from each other. Shoutout to our residents who delivered incredible teaching on:

💧 How to pick the right IV fluids
🧬 Steroids in critical illness: when and why
🛡️ Recognizing adult immunodeficiency early
🫀A stepwise way to approach troponins

Introducing Gabriel Motoa (He/Him), the brightest smile in the PGY3 class.

Originally from Cali, Colombia, Gabo completed his medical school at Universidad del Valle, and he's part of the Harrington Program ! He had never skied until residency and he bikes daily to work!

We absolutely love Gabo! 😍
