Your Background — how did you get into fitness?
My fitness journey began at 320 pounds, when I decided it was time to take control of my health and appearance. As I explored different training styles and programs, fitness became more than just a goal — it became a lifestyle. That passion led me to earn my NASM certification so I could help others find their own path toward change, just as I did.
Your Orangetheory Journey — what brought you here, and what keeps you going?
I was first introduced to Orangetheory through a friend who had achieved incredible results. After just one class, I was hooked — the structure, the energy, and the challenge were exactly what I needed. I loved that every workout was pre-designed, allowing me to show up and give my all. I started as a power walker, eventually became a runner, and began lifting heavier while significantly improving my endurance.
Your Personal Life — where are you from, hobbies, fun facts?
Outside the studio, I’m all about fishing, lifting, golfing, and drumming. Before stepping into the coaching world, I toured the globe as a drummer with Holland America Cruise Line. I’ve traveled to six of the seven continents, with some of my favorite destinations being Quebec, Australia, Bora Bora, South Africa, and various parts of Europe.

ESP days — I love the variety and the challenge of pushing all systems.
Favorite Exercise:
The 2000-meter row — I’m highly competitive and currently working toward hitting a 6-minute flat time!
