At Riverchase Dermatology Miami, we see many cases of nodular basal cell carcinoma (BCC), the most common type of skin cancer. It often shows up as a shiny, pearly, or translucent bump on the skin, sometimes pink or flesh-toned, with tiny visible blood vessels on the surface.

Dieter Manstein, MD, PhD, is a dermatologist and physicist who has developed numerous devices and procedures currently used in dermatology and the aesthetic field all over the world. He is an associate at Bowes Dermatology Group and a faculty member and inventor with the Harvard Medical School Department of Dermatology.
