Today, on National Stress Awareness Day—and right after an election that may have brought strong emotions— take a moment to prioritize your mental wellness.

✨ Here are some quick tips to help you manage stress:

1️⃣ Breathe Deeply: Deep, slow breaths can signal to your body that it’s safe to relax. Try this: breathe in for 5 counts, and exhale for 5.

2️⃣ Limit Media Exposure: It’s okay to take breaks from the news and social media.

3️⃣ Move Your Body: Even a 10-minute walk outside can help clear your mind.

4️⃣ Practice Gratitude: Jot down 3 things you’re grateful for today, even if they’re small.

5️⃣ Talk it Out: Share your thoughts with someone you trust. Speaking your thoughts aloud can help make sense of them.
