Today at Florida PACE Centers Miramar, we celebrated a centenarian milestone as participant Benito Jacotin marked his 100th birthday. 🎉 Benito has been a participant with Florida PACE Centers since 2023, and it was a joy to celebrate this special moment with him.

City of Miramar Commissioner Maxwell B. Chambers joined the celebration, presenting Benito with a framed proclamation officially recognizing March 15 as “Benito Jacotin Day” in the City of Miramar. Surrounded by fellow participants, employees, and family, it was a joyful moment honoring a century of life, memories, and impact.

Happy 100th birthday, Benito. What an incredible milestone to celebrate together.

In honor of National Social Work Month, Miami Jewish Health welcomed Elvis A. Caines, Division Director and Elizabeth L. Morales, Social Services Administrator, from the Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department, Older Adults and Individuals with Disabilities Services Division to our campus for an informative session. They shared valuable information about Miami-Dade County programs, services, and volunteer initiatives that support older adults in our community.
