Cross-armed and teary-eyed parents sat across from me, listening to me speak about the issues in their children’s classroom. They took a deep unified breath after I stated clearly, “There’s no such thing as a bully in a preschool classroom.”

As a developmental expert, I’ve spent years working with children, families, and educators to understand what truly sets a child up for success—not just in school, but in life. One thing I know for certain is that early childhood education should not only focus on academic achievement but also on emotional and social development. These “soft skills” are just as important, if not more so, than traditional academic skills like reading and math.

I am a child & adolescent development expert, a psychotherapist, and a parent who understands what you are going through. When you understand development, parenting gets easier. You don't need to be a perfect parent. You just need information on what to do.
I can help.
My clients are diverse and multifaceted families that are attempting to be present and intentional in their daily interactions with one another and their community. The parents I work with seek out and join the community that it takes to raise a well-rounded citizen of the world. What sets me apart from other forms of parenting and therapeutic help is my belief that with the right information, parents and individuals always make the right choices for their children and themselves. Most importantly, I don’t want parents to be out in the world feeling like they are not doing a good job at the one thing which is most important to them. I empower families to really find for themselves what fits. And when you ask a parent &/or an individual, “What fits? What works in your house?” They can always tell you. Each family is autonomous and I respect that by fitting my expertise to the family, rather than the family having to fit into my expertise.
A world where families thrive in truth, love, and authenticity.
For all parents to fall in love with their parenting journey.
