The triple agonist synthetic peptides people are using for weight loss, are basically scammers calling Jennifer about how she won a grand prize, and she goes out to splurge, only to come to find out she got robbed and handed Monopoly money by that smooth operator.

Finasteride is stacking anecdotal horror stories on top of their listed possible side effects. Published studies on the subject seem to undermine the public scrutiny, and point to dosage being a determining factor (duh!), and that it is only a remote possibility, albeit admitting that it is still significant because of the implication in those “rare” cases. One scientific journal publication says, “Losing potency for gaining hair is not an attractive proposition, however remote that possibility is!” (cited article: found on PubMed “Finasteride and sexual side effects”). It says the above, but only after having said, “misinformation by practitioners of alternative medicine, all have contributed to this image of the drug, and has lead to apprehension in the minds of patients”. And, it is this reason precisely, why the public is on a trend of losing trust in the conventional pharmaceutical medical industry and the biased and bought and paid for science. This one article does not speak for all of science of course, but it is simply emblematic of the stereotypical response the public is accustomed to from defenders of pharmaceuticals. It is a great disservice to dismiss the harms of pharmaceuticals, because the public can only resort to throwing out not only the bathwater, but the entire bathroom, maybe keeping the baby if we take this analogy to use the baby as a symbol for emergency procedures.

If you were looking for a sign, this study might be it, cut those fools off. Some of you don’t know you’re the one that is about to get the snip-snip. Oh! By the way, for those of you that do get cut and come to the realization that you need an attitude adjustment, acupuncture is a great tool! Needles have a way of calming people down real quick, a lot of complex science stuff is triggered, but also it forces people to stay still with their own thoughts and hear their inner voices, I’m sure that has something to do with it too.

POV: my personally assigned fbi agent, watching me through the iPhone camera, as I read glucagon receptor studies on pubmed, because many of you want to know my thoughts on triple agonist peptides like retatrutide.

These are animal studies, not human studies, but even anecdotal and case study examples, mirror these kinds of remarkable outcomes. The question with the emerging synthetic peptide technology is not so much whether they work or not, but rather, at what cost (side effects)? In the case of post-stroke sequelae, the cost is easily worth the reward, but it is no less important to be equally acutely aware of said costs. As I discussed in my recent livestream with , my guess is that much of what many of these synthetics peptides are doing is, using finite resources from one’s own body to optimize physiological healing mechanisms. In any case, the research on BPC-157 continues to produce astounding results, and will undoubtedly be part of a medical revolution!

Peptides are short amino-acid chains (2–50 residues) that serve as both signaling molecules and building blocks for proteins and tissues.
The graphic maps the natural hierarchy:
Atoms → Amino Acids → Peptides → Proteins/Collagen → Tissues (muscle sarcomeres, tendons, ligaments, nails).
Synthetic peptides such as BPC-157 — a lab-produced 15-amino-acid fragment copied from a natural gastric protein — have shown accelerated tendon, ligament, muscle, and gastrointestinal repair in preclinical animal studies, acting through VEGF, FAK-paxillin, and nitric-oxide pathways.
However, large-scale human randomized controlled trials are absent, and BPC-157 is not FDA-approved for any clinical use.
From a systems perspective, these isolated fragments can deliver targeted signaling and partial raw material, yet they may divert finite resources (amino acids, energy, cofactors) from core organ reserves toward peripheral tissues — a dynamic long recognized in TCM as the Liver/Gallbladder network’s priority.
In contrast, food-derived hydrolyzed collagen peptides + vitamin C supply a broader bioactive matrix that aligns with the body’s endogenous collagen synthesis pathway.
Targeted intervention or whole-system nourishment? Thoughts below.

The “Batman Effect” is a phrase highlighting the observations made in research, which arrive at the obvious conclusions, that pretending to be an awesome hero, makes people behave a little more heroic. *The science goes deeper and does reveal other cool findings, like that of the subconscious effect—but even that is kind of intuitive.

The Roots vs. The Leaves 🌱
I went from zero to hero on the subject of peptides with in our recent livestream, and the above generated image for this post encapsulates the material covered therein in an awesome manner — from SPPS lab synthesis and BPC-157’s exact 15-amino-acid sequence to the full hierarchy:
Atoms → Amino Acids → Peptides (signaling + building blocks) → Proteins/Collagen → Tissues (muscles, ligaments, nails, sinews).
Synthetic peptides like BPC-157 are powerful photocopies: they act as both messengers (“prioritize this repair!”) and partial raw material. But they’re isolated fragments — not the full natural blueprint.
Here’s where TCM wisdom hits different:
In the Liver/Gallbladder network (the “roots” and first reserves), the body wisely drops peripheral “leaves” (nails, tendons, ligaments) when resources are low. Nails aren’t luxury — they’re an extension of Liver health. Synthetic peptides can shortcut straight to the leaves, forcing the system to pull resources from the very organs it was protecting.
Result? Faster nail growth or tendon repair might happen… but at the hidden cost of deeper reserves. The energy boost you feel? It could be rerouting, not true optimization.
Western science rarely speaks in these dynamic resource-allocation terms. TCM has been saying it for centuries: nourish the roots first.
Food-first alternative (my personal rec):
Hydrolyzed collagen peptides + Vitamin C + sour + sweet foods (bone broth, citrus, dates, goji). Respect the whole system instead of forcing one fragment.
