“Words Can Heal” Recognized by Catalyst Miami Leadership!

We’re honored to share that today, the administrators and staff of Catalyst Miami formally acknowledged the impact of our “Words Can Heal” youth initiative—a powerful workshop and journal experience co-created by Benita C. Gordon and Belinda Gordon-Battle.

Last year, Catalyst Miami supported the development of this project through funding—and today, they reaffirmed their belief in the advocacy, healing, educational power of our work.

“Words Can Heal” is a culturally grounded, literacy-rich, empathy-building workshop and journal designed to:
• Celebrate cultural pride
• Strengthen emotional literacy and wellness
• Foster empathy and anti-bullying skills in youth

We’re now booking for the 2025–2026 school year! Perfect for schools, youth groups, after-school programs, and community organizations.
We are also modifying thr curriculm to reach thr needs of our adukt community.
