🌟 Jade’s Story: A Lesson in Prevention

Meet Jade, a sweet 15-year-old girl who came to us with a sudden and serious problem.

Jade had vaginal tumors that had pr*****ed, causing her significant discomfort. During surgery, we discovered polycystic ovaries and a pyometra — a life-threatening uterine infection. She was also suffering from advanced periodontal disease.

Our team performed:
✨ An ovariohysterectomy (spay)
✨ Removal of the vaginal tumors (likely leiomyomas)
✨ A vaginal purse-string suture
✨ A full dental procedure to treat her periodontal disease

Jade is also an anxious girl (4/5 on our fear & anxiety scale), so her care required extra patience and compassion. We’re working closely with her family to help her feel safe and supported.

💛 The good news? Jade is recovering beautifully and is on her way back to her loving family.

This poignant reminder shows the sad reality of pets being given up after the novelty wears off. A dog isn’t a seasonal item or a gift that can be returned once the excitement fades. They are a lifelong commitment, requiring love, care, and attention every single day. This reminder shows a pup’s first Christmas joyfully spent in a home and a second Christmas spent in a kennel, forgotten.

Adopting a dog should never be about temporary joy—it’s about committing to them through thick and thin. A dog gives us unconditional love, and in return, they deserve a forever home, not just a brief holiday stay. This is a call for all of us to consider the long-term responsibilities before bringing a dog into our lives.

When we adopt, we make a lifelong commitment to love and care for that animal, no matter what comes. It’s our duty to ensure that every dog receives the love they deserve for their entire lifetime. 🐾🎄

Luna was a Husky who should have known wide spaces, cool air, and freedom. Instead, her world had been reduced to a narrow patch of ground, surrounded by clutter and silence. Day after day, she remained there—tethered, overlooked, and growing weaker with time.

Her body told the truth long before she could. Her frame had grown thin, each breath taking effort. The light that once lived in her eyes had dulled, replaced by fatigue from surviving on too little food and even less care.

But Luna wasn’t alone. Curled close beside her were seven newborn puppies—tiny lives she had just brought into the world. Becoming a mother should have been a moment of warmth and safety. For Luna, it became another test of endurance. Her body was already exhausted, yet she still tried to give them everything she had.

She rarely rested. Every small movement was deliberate. Every ounce of strength she had left went into staying present for her puppies—keeping them close, keeping them alive, keeping hope where there should have been none.

What made Luna unforgettable wasn’t how much she had lost—it was what she refused to let go of. Even in weakness, even in confinement, she remained gentle. Protective. Steady. Her love didn’t fade just because her world had grown small.

And then, when it seemed like time had almost run out, something changed.

No matter the breed, size, or appearance, all dogs deserve love, respect, and care. Whether it's the playful energy of a small Corgi or the gentle wisdom of a mature stray dog, every dog brings something unique and special into our lives. Our dogs don’t judge us by the way we look or where we come from, so why should we treat them any differently?

When we open our hearts to every dog, regardless of their breed or background, we’re creating a world where every animal is treated with kindness. Whether they are a purebred or a mix, all dogs deserve to be treated with the same care and affection. It's not about where they come from; it's about the bond we share with them.
