She received her medical degree from the University of Camaguey in 1993. She then immigrated to Louisville, Kentucky in 1997 where she revalidated her medical license. In 2008 she completed her pediatric residency at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico. Following the completion of her residency she moved to Miami where she began working for the Urgent Care of Miami Children’s hospital now known

as Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. In 2013 she decided to open her own practice while continuing her work with Nicklaus Children’s hospital. Dr. Gutierrez is board certified in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and she is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine. In addition, she is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Gutierrez is most proud of raising two wonderful children, now professionals in their own fields. She continues to teach and inspire all those seeking to further their medical knowledge.
