I’ve been stuck in the bu****it of my own making. To much to do without the space for fun, curiosity and possibilities. I am not a rule follower even of those rules are mine. So when I’m stuck it is time to move some s**t around. It’s time for in person cafecito in the morning with and then an impromptu gym session and then sit in the sauna a little longer listening to OutKast. I have a ton of work to do but it will go so much faster once I’ve broken a few rules šŸ˜‰
What rules are we breaking today?

If you see me in real life or on the internets this is me 97% of the time, there is no make on, the hair a little wild and probably pulled off my face. I’m talking way too fast and way too loud. I’m wearing a tank top or the lightest long sleeve T-shirt with the sleeves pushed up because even when it’s cold I’m hot. And I definitely do not have shoes on. I do not fit in some ā€œprofessionalā€ box.

At some point I’m laughing with my whole body, I’m telling you you can do the thing you feel in your soul is right for you and I’m always willing to sit through the hard thing with you (and I’ll probably try to make it a little less hard).

The way I coach and host community is from my soul.

And at some point in my life I have tried to change every one of these things but it doesn’t feel authentic for me.

I could wear the makeup, do the hair, upgrade the clothes, lower the voice, slow down my speech. But than the full bod of laughter is me covering my mouth when I laugh, it’s me agreeing that life is hard, it’s not being able to sit through the hard things because I can’t even sit with myself.

So this is me, all of me ā¤ļø

If you know me I’ve probably said this to you. When you said, ā€œI need more of thisā€ or ā€œ I wish ā€¦ā€ or ā€œwhy don’t i do moreā€¦ā€¦ā€ or any of the things where you can see a glimpse of something different or better. Because it is what I truly believe, your life is always 1 to 2 decisions away from being different, sometimes it slightly different and sometimes it’s totally different but that my friends is completely and totally up to you. What you want is always available!

I had an Aha moment recently that hit me like a ton of bricks.

I was driving to pick up one of my kids, listening to Gary Vee’s podcast, when he said:

ā€œAttention is our greatest asset.ā€

My immediate thought was ā€œI don’t want that asset.ā€ And it stopped me in my tracks. Right before this I was in an all day session with we were talking about your money story and all transparency was annoyed I was doing this exercise for like the 10th in my life and the story is still the same. I realized something I’ve been carrying since I was 7 years old: My entire plan in life has been to fly just under the radar, to avoid being ā€œfound out.ā€ It’s not like there is something to find out, it’s a feeling that some day the ā€œgig will be upā€

Growing up in the 80s with undiagnosed ADHD and dyslexia, school was hard. I remember the shame of being called on to read aloud, of struggling to keep up, of feeling like I must have missed the day where everyone else learned all of this. Back then, there weren’t words for what I was experiencing—just the silent judgment of not ā€œpaying attentionā€

So I learned to stay small. To hide the parts of me that felt broken. To avoid surprise attention and only create attention to me in areas that I was excellent in.

But here’s the kicker: Success—true, visible success—means being seen. And to my 7-year-old self, being seen felt like the least safe thing in the world.

Hearing Gary Vee and my immediate reaction made me realize I’ve been carrying this belief for decades. It’s shaped everything—how I show up, how I grow, and even what I believe I deserve.

I’m untangling this web in real time, the subconscious is always an interesting place to go!

This might be my new favorite analogy šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚
Friday night I was making a dinner I hadn’t planned on but was happy to be making while texting a friend. The bowl I picked was the size I needed to serve the potatoes in but too small to mash the potatoes in. So every time I pushed down the potatoes were going up the side of the bowl forming a wall above the rim, that I would push back to the middle and start again. This made it super slow and very little room for any other ingredients butter, sour cream and milk made for a less stable wall above the rim. Eventually with some care I made it work but damn if this isn’t life right now. It’s delicious and it all barely fits every time I add something to make it better I have to move a little slower to make sure nothing is spilling over. I’m sure it’s going to work out in the end but it’s a little iffy at the moment. Also mashed potatoes are always a good idea!!

Last night I was at the awesome event! There were so many amazing women there. I met the awesome Shea from and we were talking about life and business and the interesting road we all have traveled on and what is coming next she said ā€œI show up so the universe can exceed my expectations!ā€ I love this, like really really love this! I may have made her repeat it 3 times šŸ˜‰

How many times in life are we expecting s**t to go wrong? How often do we settle for good enough? What if you walked around with the expectation that life is planning on exceeding our expectations!?

Thank you for the reminder Shea! Let’s see what expectations we can exceed!!

They even sat outside in direct sunlight for some period of time 😬. Not only are microgreens super nutrient dense but they are delicious!! Awesome job Danny and Jenn!! Go follow them!!

Mondays get a bad reputation, but we believe they’re a blank canvas - the potential is entirely up to you.

You know the kind of coffee break chat you have (or wish you could!) with your work besties? Where you leave feeling super supported, seen, and grateful?

We call that Cafecito ā˜•ļø

Every Monday morning, we start our week off by meeting on Zoom, and share our insight on the kind of questions that make us really reflect on the theme of the month.

We’re all there for support, guidance, and holding space for one another - all while diving deeper on topics like manifesting, accountability, trust, courage, and vision.

We are ALWAYS here for your growth and what better way than to start each week getting grounded in your purpose?

Stratton 29029 recap: This was the hardest thing I have ever done and in the exact same breath this is also one of the most fantastic things I have ever done. The event was so well done, the should be so proud of themselves. The weather was one thing that nobody could control. It was very rainy which made the mountain so muddy, temperatures were between 40-50’s which made it hot in full rain gear, so sweaty when you were moving and soaking wet and freezing when you were not. The people doing, volunteering and working this event are amazing!! Each trip up the mountain was a chance to have a conversation with someone amazing sometimes for 2 minutes and sometimes an hour but each one was special.

I completed 10 trips up some where between Vison and Kilimanjaro not the 17 trips for Everest I was hoping for but I left it all on the mountain, literally and figuratively. My training payed off big time my muscles, tendons and old injuries felt great. Thank you to and .healing for getting me to the mountain in way batter shape than I could have gotten myself. My lungs, my never ending battle with altitude and my bodies plan to puke when it wants me to slow down was my downfall. Once the puking started I just couldn’t get it to stop. When the medic asked what’s your plan and I said ā€œone more?ā€ And he said ā€œthat is a bad plan, unless you are looking for a hospital stayā€ it was time to stop and be proud of what I had done.
Here’s what I learned in no particular order:
• Doing cool s**t with cool people is always my life goal. Doing this with my brother was epic. Not just the actual event, the 20 weeks of training, the months before that, the hanging out in the hotel, all of it. The people doing the event are amazing, the people hosting the event are outstanding.
• raising money for in the process was so incredible. The organization is doing such cool things in the world, they should be on your lists of donations every year.
• pushing your body to its limits makes you realize how much more you can do. Always.
Thank you for all of your support on this journey!
