At a time like this where everyone is living in fear due to the Coronavirus, it is important for asthma patients to do everything in their power to keep their asthma under control.
Continue taking your preventive medication to keep your lungs prepared should any infection (such as the virus) agitate your asthma.
Speak to your healthcare provider if you start experiencing any symptoms.

Four... Exactly 4 years ago today I was rushed and admitted to the hospital. 4 years ago today both of my lungs collapsed and I was placed in an induced coma. 4 years ago today my life flashed before my eyes. This was the scariest and most intense obstacle my family has ever had to face. My family stayed by my bed side for 3 weeks until I gained the strength to breathe on my own again. It took many months of recovery and I am happy to say that four years later my lungs are better than they have ever been before. I am forever grateful for all of the prayers made through this rough time and all of the stability and support given to my family. God always has a hidden plan in mind and everything he does he does for a reason. 💛🙏🏼

Our Miracle, 3 years ago Ashley suffered from a severe asthma attack that caused her lungs to collapse. She was placed on ECMO and fought for her life. After 21 days, she was released and ready to start her new life! She needed physical therapy to learn all the basic functions we take for granted. Ashley’s dedication, passion, positive attitude got her back to dancing within 30 days, she is a testament that God listens to our prayers, that Miracles do exist. We are forever grateful for the amazing team of nurses and doctors in Nicklaus Children Hospital, family, friends, community for there prayers and believing in our Ashstrong! 💛💛
