2020. What a ride. What has 2020 meant for you? ⠀
⠀
For me it was an opportunity to evaluate what matters most. I discovered what deserves my attention and what does not. I connected with nature and found value in being outside. I rediscovered connection, to myself, to others, to nature, to the divine. Gone were the social events that required superficial small talk. Now every conversation mattered, every human connection was significant and had value. ⠀
⠀
By design we were required to stop running our mouths (thanks face mask) and instead had to look in each other’s eyes. I saw fear, concern, curiosity, patience, love and joy. I wonder what they saw in mine. ⠀
⠀
I found strength in myself and not just in the miles I ran but in the woman that I am. I saw immeasurable strength in others. The courage to face emotions, life, new circumstances and adapt. ⠀
I had the chance to sit with emotions I thought had long been “dealt with” and truly understand the origins. ⠀
⠀
I witnessed the pain and grief of death, the awe of birth and the absolute rawness of rebirth. And in a year where internet wars raged on and people argued and damaged relationships just to be right, I realized that’s not why I’m here. ⠀
⠀
I came to LIVE. To leave it all on the table, to learn, grow, FEEL, to make humanity better. I didn’t come to be right. I came to LIVE and I encourage you to do the same. Cheers to another chapter and to lots of opportunities to take chances, love, feel, grow and change your world.💕 #2020
With love, ⠀
