Flowing with Life

As life unfolds,
we all face so many moments — births and deaths,
weddings and funerals,
celebrations and losses,
adventures and illnesses, joy and grief.

That’s Life — all of it.

Most of our suffering comes from resisting what is…
from not accepting,
not embracing,
and fighting against the natural flow of events that make up our journey.

There is day and there is night.
To understand cold,
you must have felt heat.

To enjoy fullness,
you must have known hunger.
To truly laugh,
you must have cried.

Life is yin and yang — the dance of opposites.

When our heart and soul finally understand that every emotion has a purpose,
peace begins to flow through us.
We learn to say with courage and trust: “Bring it on.”

Life happens.
Painful things happen.
Wonderful things happen.
But no matter what,
we can always choose our response.

Our response shapes our experience.
We control our thoughts.
Our thoughts shape our emotions.
Our emotions lead our actions.

So the secret is to accept what comes with gratitude, surrender, and faith — trusting that every wave is carrying us exactly where we need to go. 🌊

NOW.

This moment.

Is all you ever have for sure
There is no going back!!!

The clock is running!!!

Make the most today!!!!

To realize the value of ONE YEAR,
ask a student who failed a grade,

To realize the value of ONE MONTH,
ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of One WEEK,
ask medical students studying for finals.

To realize the value of an HOUR,
ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of one MINUTE,
ask the person who missed the train

To realize the value of a second,
ask the person who just avoided an accident.

To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND,
ask the person who won silver medal in the Olympics.

Treasure every moment that you have..

Time waits for no one..

Time belongs to no one.!!!

Today is a gift.

That is why it is called.

“Every day, think as you wake up:

Today I am fortunate to have woken up.

I am alive.

I have a precious human life.

I am not going to waste it.

I am going to use all my energies to develop myself,
to expand my heart to others,
to achieve enlightment for the benefit of all beings.

I am going to have kind thoughts towards others.

I am not going to get angry or think badly about others.

I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”

WORK IN SOLITUDE.

One day a person went up to the mountain where a hermit woman was taking refuge who was meditating, and asked her:

-What are you doing in so much solitude ?, to which she replied: -I have a lot of work.

-And how can you have so much work? I don’t see anything around here ...

-I have to train two hawks and two eagles, calm two rabbits, discipline a snake, motivate a donkey and tame a lion.

-And where are they that I don’t see them?

-I have them inside me.

The hawks launch themselves on everything that comes their way, good or bad, I have to train them to jump on good things. They are my eyes.

The two eagles with their claws hurt and destroy, I have to teach them not to do damage. They are my hands.

Rabbits want to go where they want, not to face difficult situations, I have to teach them to be calm even if there is suffering, or stumbling. They are my feet.

The donkey is always tired, it is stubborn, it does not want to carry its load many times. It is my body.

The most difficult to tame is the snake. Although she is locked in a strong cage, she is always ready to bite and poison anyone around. I have to discipline her. It is my language.

I also have a lion. Oh ... how proud, vain, he thinks he is the king. I have to tame it. It’s my ego.

-As you can see, friend, I have a lot of work. And you, what do you work on?

One of my fave stories!!
Its the way it its

What matters is not what we see,
but how we look at it.

Attitude is an inside job, and has nothing to do with whats going on outside.

We do not choose the weather, we always choose how we respond to it.

How are you seeing yourself at this moment in life?

The beautiful, well-versed 83 year old lady, fully dressed every morning at 8 am sharp, with her hair done in fashion and perfectly applied makeup, is moving to a retirement home. Her husband recently died, which motivated her move.

After many hours of patiently waiting in the hall of the home, she smiled sweetly, when told her room was ready.

As she moved her walker toward the elevator, she was given a detailed description of her small room, including the curtains hanging from her window.

′′ I love it “, she said, with the enthusiasm of a 8-year-old girl who was just handed over a new pet.
- Mrs. Jones; you haven’t seen the room, just wait.

- That doesn’t matter, she replied.
Happiness is something you decide over time. Whether or not I like my room doesn’t depend on how the furniture is arranged, it depends on how I arrange my mind.

I’ve already decided that I like it. It’s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have the choice; I can spend the day in bed, going through the difficulty I have with my body parts that don’t work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the parts that do work.

Every day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I will focus on the new day and the happy memories I’ve stored just for this time in my life.

HAPPINESS is like a bank account: you withdraw from it, what you deposit.

So my advice would be to deposit a lot of happiness into your memory account.

Remember these five simple things:

1.- Free your heart from hate/discord.
2.- Free your mind from worries.
3.- Live Simply.
4.- Give more.
5.- Take less.

Our spoken words produce
a frequency and vibration and
affect your frequency and vibration of all of us who hear them.

Our words don’t dissappear,
Our words do not get carrried away by the wind,
but rather permeate the mind,
body and soul of the person who hears them.

Practice THE PAUSE before you speak.

Be mindful of the words you use to express yourself
Be mindful of the words you youse when speaking to others

What we say can never be unsaid.

Our words do not dissappear with the wind but stay engraved in the hearts and souls of those who listen.

Speak mindfully

When you are healthy, you have many problems.
When you are sick, you have only one.”

I’ve been sitting with these wise words a lot lately.
Literally—sitting—on a heating pad from Friday through Sunday, unable to walk without tears in my eyes and loud cries of “Ouch!”
Excruciating pain from sciatica, severely cramped glutes, numb legs, tingling feet.
It took over my entire being.

I went to the doctor, got an X-ray—diagnosis: arthritis, stenosis.
Prescribed Meloxicam, an anti-inflammatory.
Three days later, I felt a bit better.
But I walked like I was 180 years old, still aching all over.

Then came another blow—sky-high blood pressure.
Turns out the medication was the culprit.
Doctor said to stop immediately.

So here I am. Still in pain. But stable. Healing.
It hasn’t gotten worse, and that is something.

In these raw, humbling moments, my mind wandered to those living in wheelchairs, those confined to beds, those enduring chronic pain every day of their lives.
My empathy has grown in ways I didn’t expect.

And I’ve been counting my blessings.

Grateful for the loving people in my life.
Grateful for every note, every message from those I’ve touched along the way.

And above all, grateful to be reminded—again—
that health is a gift we don’t fully value…
until it’s taken from us.

Continuing excerpts from the masterpiece book

Mother Hunger Kelly Mac Daniel

If you have ever felt too needy or dependent this may be why

We need our MOTHERS!!!

This is a need biologically hardwired into our bodies and brains.

If we didn’t have enough mothering, that “yearning for love “
stays with us .

By mother ,
I am primarily referring to the biological mother,
but mother is also a verb and an adult with the desire ability and willingness to nurture protect and guide a child can be a mother .

However I agree with Erica Komisars obsetvation in “Being There”

“Our denial of the very specific i’m special physical and emotional role of a mother to her child particularly in our attempts to be modern is not in the best interest of children and their needs like commissar.

I have a front row seat in my practice to what happens when this important relationship is compromised.

In spite of diverse stories,
each woman with mother hunger,
yearns
quality of love are nurturing,
safe,
inspiring love .

The kind of love we think of as
Paternal Love
is a love that we need for a firm starting in life.

While it’s clear that
Daughter’s raised by attentive, nurturing fathers have many advantages.

FATHERS CANNOT replace mothers.

Mother hunger isn’t about dismissing the importance of fathers or
other primary caregivers
nor is it about blaming mothers for what they couldn’t provide .

Mother hunger is a framework to help you identify what the essential elements of maternal care are so you can recognize what you have lost and reclaim what you need.

I am responsible for what I say.

You are responsible for what you choose to hear.

People do not hear what you say ,
most of the of the time they are lost in thought or planning their response.

Checking back to what the other heard is a great exercise.

When you say something to someone and they say they understood,
Ask them to please repeat back what they heard and what they understood.

You will be surprised how often they do not hear what you said .

By doing this check back many communication problems could be avoided.

We all need practice with our communication skills and listening skills.

What one thing can you change in you to be a better listener for your children?
