Miami DDA The Miami Downtown Development Authority grows & strengthens the economic health of Downtown Miami.

The Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is committed to improving the quality of life for businesses, employees, residents, and visitors in downtown Miami. As an independent agency of the City of Miami, the Miami DDA supports business growth, infrastructure improvements, and services for Downtown Miami residents and stakeholders. In addition to its programs and initiatives, the Miami DDA is

partnering with the City and other government entities to strengthen Downtown Miami’s position as an international center for commerce, culture, and tourism. The organization is governed by a 15-member board comprised of three public appointees and 12 downtown property owners, residents and/or workers. The changes come weeks after a 26-year-old man accessed the 37th floor of the Icon Brickell towers and fatally stabbed​ a 17-year-old boy while he slept.

Thanks to the vision of the late Commissioner Manolo Reyes and the support of the Miami DDA, Hermanos de la Calle has received a total of $325,000 over the years — helping more than 1,000 individuals experiencing homelessness in .

In the last five years alone, we’ve invested $4.5 million into building better futures through outreach, education, and job programs.

🌟 What started as a simple act of kindness has transformed into a vital nonprofit lifeline for .

Thanks to the leadership of the late Commissioner and Miami DDA Chairman Manolo Reyes, we have awarded Hermanos de la Calle a total of $325,000 over the years to support more than 1,000 individuals on their journey to stability.

In the last five years, the Miami DDA has proudly invested over $4.5 million in programs that create real pathways out of homelessness.
