Dr. Shah is a former Chief of Staff Kettering/Miamisburg/Troy and was President of Pulmonary Medicine of Dayton. He has been at Kettering Health Main Campus for almost 30 years and is currently the medical director of the Respiratory Dept. and one of the main ICUs. He spearheaded the Kettering Covid Critical Care Response Team. He has been a pulmonologist with PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Miamisburg for more than 10 years. He is a Professor of Medicine at Wright State University Booncroft School Of Medicine.
Dr. Shah has a special interest in lung cancers and complex pulmonary and ICU problems. He is skilled in various interventional bronchoscopy techniques including EBUS and lung lasers.
Dr. Shah is somewhat of an exercise nut having participated in over 25 marathons (including Boston, NY, Marine Corp, Chicago, Mumbai), 70.3 Triathlons, 100-mile bike rides and the like. He is terrible at swimming but enjoys it! He even pushed his disabled daughter for 26.2 miles. He is a black belt 2nd Dan in Taekwondo. He dabbled in Indian drums but gave it up as he got nowhere after trying it for over 10 years. His driver is his special needs daughter, who is the center of his universe. He cares deeply for other caregivers of folks with special needs children. He loves to travel to places that his daughter can join him.
Dr. Shah is deeply spiritual, believes in giving back to the community, and provides charity care in the appropriate settings. PAM Health Miamisburg is so grateful for the care that Dr. Shah provides not only to the patients at PAM Health but also for the care and giving back that he provides to the community! Thank you, Dr. Shah!!
