This past week, we had an exceptionally fun time at River Oaks! The 1st Annual Pet Parade, which aimed to raise awareness about Pet Safety during the summer heat and how to respond in case of a home fire with pets, was both informative and enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who brought their pets to share time with our residents.

We were delighted to host Matt and Chad from the Miami Valley Fire District this week in observance of National Pet Fire Safety Day. They provided valuable insights on maintaining safety for ourselves and our pets. Residents and staff appreciated the tour of Fire Engine 52. Thank you both for your dedication to our community.

Allow me to introduce you to Amanda, our Rock star of the month! Amanda came aboard a few months ago in our dietary department. Of course, being a true Rock star, she didn't stop there. Amanda is a true team player that works full time in housekeeping, always helps in laundry, will still pick up in dietary and steps in as a caregiver whenever she is needed. Congratulations Amanda for always going above and beyond!! Thank you for all you do!

Today was our monthly Brunch Bunch with a patriotic twist! If you do not know about this monthly brunch, please stop in the first Friday of the month for a delicious brunch prepared by River Oaks Culinary Staff! Make sure to RSVP at least 2 days before the brunch. This event is a big hit at our community. Hope to see you all again next month!

The monthly men's group is always a hit! With music, jokes, snacks, and beverages, the atmosphere is lively! The interaction during this gathering really evokes memories for the guys and generates plenty of conversation!
