🌿"Healing conversations don’t always have to happen inside four walls" - Randy Cole

At LifeSpring Counseling Services, Randy Cole, MA, LPC is now offering Walk & Talk Therapy, a counseling option for clients who feel more comfortable processing life while walking outdoors in nature.

For many people, being outside can make it easier to open up. Movement, fresh air, and the rhythm of walking often help conversations flow more naturally and comfortably than sitting across from a desk.

Randy believes that clients are the experts of their own lives.
Rather than handing out answers, his approach is to work alongside his clients—helping them explore what’s going on, understand patterns, and identify what truly works for them. Together, they build a plan that fits their unique life and experiences.

In Randy’s words:
“My goal isn’t to give someone the answers. My goal is to work with them. They are the experts of what’s happening in their lives—what works for them and what doesn’t. Together we figure out what works best.”

When clients work with Randy, his hope is that they walk away with something deeper than temporary solutions.

He hopes they walk away with empowerment and:

✨ The confidence to face difficult moments
✨ Tools they can continue to use long after counseling ends
✨ A belief in their ability to work through challenges
✨ The ability to say, “I’ve been through something like this before, and I know I can handle it.”

Randy’s goal is that as life brings new challenges down the road, clients remember the work they did together and feel more capable, more confident, and more prepared to navigate what comes next.

As I continue Season 5, I found myself in a very real place, struggling to re-enter the research, record, and edit mindset. Instead of walking away, I chose something different.

Sometimes the bravest act of faith isn’t pressing forward. It’s trusting that God is still at work in the pause. “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)

The last couple of days, I’ve been sitting with my intentions for the new year—writing, reflecting, listening. And if I’m honest, doubt and fear still sneak into my thoughts and feelings from time to time.
I often invite my clients to notice the what ifs in their lives… and to gently reframe them.

So I paused and asked myself—why not do the same?

✨️The What Ifs of 2026 ✨

Most of us are used to “what ifs” sounding like fear.

What if it goes wrong?
What if I’m not good enough?
What if I fail, disappoint, lose, or fall behind?

For so long, what if has been the voice of worry, the mind racing ahead, trying to protect us... instead
often stealing peace from the present moment.

But what if…
the question itself isn’t the problem?

What if "what if" can open doors
instead of closing them?

What if we let the question soften…
and take root?

What if 2026 becomes a year where “what if” invites possibility instead of panic?

What if things work out differently—but beautifully?

What if you grow through what you don’t yet understand?

What if you’re more capable, supported, and resilient than you realize?

What if curiosity replaces fear?

What if clarity grows underground first— like roots strengthening long before anything blooms above the surface?

What if staying grounded—
in values, faith, presence, and what matters most—
creates the stability you’ve been craving?

What if growth doesn’t require rushing, but patience, nourishment, and trust?

What if rest isn’t falling behind,
but part of how you bloom?

What if you stop striving for balance and begin honoring rhythm— seasons of planting, tending, resting, and rising?

What if being present becomes your quiet superpower?

What if the future doesn’t require all the answers, only the next faithful step?
