💖Meridian Monday - Life is both.
This weekend, we celebrated.
✨️Cousins laughing and reconnecting.
✨️The 4th of July and all the joy that comes with it.
✨️A soon-to-be marriage, showering our son and his beautiful bride-to-be with hearts full of blessings.
It was one of those days that reminds you: celebration takes effort—but it’s worth it.
The planning, the prepping, the pausing—each piece adds to the meaning.
Because when we prepare with love, gather with care, and show up with intention, we're not just hosting an event—we’re honoring the sacredness of connection, family, and shared joy.
That’s what gives it meaning.
And sometimes, in the midst of it all, healing shows up too.
One of our sons had a tick bite—one of those bullseye ones that stops you in your tracks.
But my sister, Stacey Caler, with her healing hands and heart, showed up with medicine, supplements, and love.
It was a reminder that when the right people are in the right place at the right time, healing happens. Grace finds its way in.
That same grace is what we wish for others right now—especially those facing hardship.
As flash floods roared through Texas this weekend, we were reminded just how quickly life can shift.
Our hearts are with those affected, and we are lifting prayers for safety, comfort, and healing in the midst of devastation and loss.
This weekend was a tender reminder:
Life is both.
The joy and the grief.
The laughter and the loss.
We’re always learning to hold both—the good and the hard—in the same breath.
So today, as we move into a new week, may we carry this:
Celebrate what matters.
Hold your people close.
And never underestimate the power of presence, perspective, and the quiet healing that happens when love shows up.
