✨ What Is Reiki?
Reiki s a gentle, hands-on energy healing practice that helps balance your mind, body, and spirit. It originated in Japan and is based on the idea that we all have life force energy flowing through us. When that energy is low or blocked, we may feel stressed, tired, or even unwell—physically or emotionally.
🤍What Happens During a Reiki Session?
• You lie down fully clothed on a massage table in a calm, relaxing space.
• The practitioner (me 😄) lightly places their hands on or just above different areas of your body.
• You don’t need to do anything but relax—many people even fall asleep!
There’s no massage or manipulation involved. It’s all about transferring and channeling universal energy to support your body’s natural ability to heal.
💫 What Does It Feel Like?
Everyone experiences Reiki a little differently. You might feel:
A sense of deep calm or peace
Warmth or tingling where the practitioner’s hands are
Emotions rising (and releasing) in a safe way
Gentle energy movement throughout your body.
You might see colors. You might feel nothing. The healing is taking place regardless.
Some people describe it as being in a deprivation tank. Some describe it as the most relaxing peaceful experience they’ve ever experienced. Its all dependent upon the person.
