Dr. Bormann was born and raised in Michigan City. He graduated from Elston High School in 1985 and Valparaiso University in 1989. He attended Loyola University School of Dentistry where he was a Clinical Honors Student and graduated in the top 20 of his class. He was awarded the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for clinical excellence in Oral Surgery his senior year. After graduating in 1992, he joined practice with his father, Dr Donald I. In 1997, his father retired. Since graduating Dental School, Dr Bormann has attended hundreds of hours of Dental Continuing Education Classes and is up to date on the latest dental technologies.
