Halloween Fun at The Elms! 👻

Our team brought the spirit of Halloween to life with some fantastic and creative costumes!

- Oriona transformed into a giant blueberry straight out of W***y Wonka—a sweet and unforgettable look!
- Kayla brewed up smiles as a cozy latte coffee, complete with all the fall vibes.
- Shaneika brightened the day as The Lorax from Dr. Seuss, speaking for the trees and spreading cheer.

We had many more team members dressing up, making the halls festive and full of laughter. The best part? Our residents served as the judges, enjoying the fun and helping choose their favorites!
It was a memorable and joy-filled Halloween at The Elms!

🇺🇸 Veterans Day Celebration 🇺🇸

A heartfelt thank you to VNA for providing the veteran certificates and to AseraCare for the beautiful pins. We enjoyed an All-American lunch in honor of our veterans, complete with a wonderful performance by the talented students of Baker Middle School. We are so grateful to all who made this special day possible and to the veterans who have served our country with courage and dedication.

What a special day! We raised our new flagpole and retired our old one so our flag can proudly wave without worry of the tree branches. A big thank you to the Michigan City High School ROTC for leading a beautiful ceremony and to AseraCare Hospice for the hot chocolate and cookies that made the morning extra sweet.
We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make this a meaningful community moment!

Residents loved seeing the creative costumes, and the children enjoyed visiting each door for treats and laughter. It was a wonderful way to bring generations together and celebrate the spirit of community!
