"After a rough birth with my son (my OB missed he was breech and I labored until 8 cm, then had to have an emergency c-section), I wanted to make sure I had a provider that I trusted and that supported VBACs. When I was pregnant again, I met with several midwives and connected with Sue right away. She has a calming presence that makes you feel supported and heard. Sue took time during our prenatals to answer all my questions and it felt like talking to a friend. She helped me trust my body and the birth process and was supportive of my birth plan. She was supportive of having a doula, allowing my family to come in when I wanted, and even helped me advocate for some of the radical placenta practices I wanted to incorporate. Sue helped me achieve my VBAC and even helped my husband catch our daughter. Even when the overseeing OB started to doubt my abilities during pushing, she helped to give us more time and shortly after she was born. She is truly passionate about supporting and empowering women and I highly recommend her. You can tell Sue wants the best for every patient and her kind heart makes you feel comfortable."
