Please join me in welcoming Nova, our newest team member, who has already proven herself to be an exceptionally easy-going and cooperative milker. Her gentle and even-tempered nature makes her a pleasure to work with. Impressively, she has taken to the milking stand with ease, requiring only two days to become accustomed to the process.

This momma had me fooled. I was beginning to think she wasn't pregnant. She was due Friday the 5th but had no signs of pregnancy or labor starting. I mean she had no udder, it wasn't filling up at all.
SURPRISE, there she was with this sweet little girl this morning.

UPDATE: cat found its way down.
A cat has taken refuge in the tree, but I doubt it is one of our felines. When I attempted to call it, the cat ignored me and looked away. Typically, our barn cats would have responded immediately or acknowledged me.
