What a meaningful day.

Today I attended and presented at the 2026 Connecticut Public Health Next Gen Workforce Showcase, where I shared the public health relevance of MemoryPulse™ and its role in improving community response to dementia-related wandering.

I also had the chance to meet so many awesome new people and reconnect with one of my public health mentors, which made the day even more special.

This was a proud moment for me, not just as a founder, but as someone who truly cares about protecting vulnerable individuals and supporting families and caregivers with dignity.

So grateful for the opportunity to be in the room, share this work, and keep pushing this mission forward.

The 7 stages of dementia provide a general guide to how memory loss and cognitive decline may progress over time. While each person’s experience is different, understanding these stages can help families and caregivers recognize changes, plan ahead, and provide the right level of support with compassion and dignity.

“I want to go home” is often about comfort, not location.

For someone living with dementia, those words may reflect fear, confusion, or the need to feel safe. Responding with empathy instead of correction can make a world of difference.
