We’re so happy to welcome Crystal De Jesus, LCSW to our team! Crystal is bilingual in Spanish and English and is now accepting new clients immediately.

🗓️ Appointment times available:
Monday–Thursday at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 5:00 PM, and 6:00 PM

Crystal works especially well with preteens, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, identity, self-esteem, and life transitions. Her approach is warm, honest, and collaborative—she takes time to build trust and helps clients feel empowered and confident using the skills they learn in therapy.

Welcoming David Williams, LMSW, CTT, to The Thrive Center

We’re excited to introduce David Williams, a Licensed Master Social Worker with a grounded, compassionate presence and a passion for helping others grow through life’s challenges. David specializes in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and men’s issues.

His clinical approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method, with the option to include Christian counseling for those who desire it. David’s work is rooted in genuine connection, thoughtful challenge, and a belief in each person’s capacity for change.

With a background that includes military service, child welfare, and leadership in case management, David brings a depth of life experience to his work that helps clients feel seen and understood. He currently offers online therapy for adults and teens across Connecticut.

We’re grateful to have David on our team and look forward to the care and insight he brings to our Thrive community.

Hello Community!

The Thrive Center is excited to introduce you to our newest clinician, Michael Darden, LMSW! We are excited to build his caseload as he makes his transition from working in DCF to booming a clinician in private practice! Michael previously worked with DCF for 20+ years where he engaged with teens who were avoidant and dis-engaged with caseworkers. Michael has a unique skill of building rapport with challenging client behaviors that are guarded and withdrawn helping them to open up and take steps towards their goals. He applies his previous experiences and transferrable skillset into his sessions which allows for tremendous client growth. Michael is authentic and genuine with everyone he engages with, which allows him to do excellent work with teenagers, young adults who have experienced childhood trauma, as well as men, and perpetrators of abuse. Michael also has a special interest in working with the black community.

Michael is available for telehealth and in person, in our office in Middlebury, M- F daytime/ afternoon hours. If you have a client who would benefit from Michael's approach please call the Thrive Center at (475) 233-3944.
