Pre Flight your AME Medical Exam:

During our August Grand Rounds they talked about pre flighting your Medical exam. If you are on medication or have a condition check the AME guide and bring in the pertinent requirements. If you are not sure give a call and let us guide you. Bringing in a progress note, lab work and any diagnostic imaging can help us not defer and hopefully let us issue at the time of your visit.

We offer the new computerized color testing for all new pilots. All pilots with previous certification can be grandfathered in. Please reach out to us and we're happy to help you.

The FAA now requires computer-based color vision tests for pilot exams. The new process screens for both yellow/blue and red/green deficiencies and addresses inconsistencies and color degradation from using older test plates. Pilots who have held a medical certificate will not need to retest unless they want a color vision restriction on their certificate removed, develop a medical condition or are taking medication that affects color vision.
