We are Medically Trained Tattoo Artists

Paramedical Tattoo Artists

Occasionally people experience an event in their life that results in a change to a feature in their appearance. Some may have a medical condition, or the results of a medical condition that has affected their appearance, and they have a desire to improve this aesthetically. Medical tattooing, an advanced form of cosmetic tattooing, is an option that can facilitate a desired change or restoration of appearance. Firmly established as being part of the medical aesthetics genre, medical tattooing offers a range of treatments for people who have experienced medical conditions including:

· Enhancement of lip symmetry due to a cleft lip

· Restoration of the areola complex

· Restoration of the appearance of hair loss due to alopecia (includes restoration of eyebrows, eyelash definition, simulation of scalp hair)

· The diminished appearance of scar tissue due to skin trauma, including burns

· Vitiligo color restoration (typically very minor areas and most successfully performed on lips)

Treatments are carried out using a computerized permanent cosmetics device, which has individual programmed settings. Using advanced technology, these settings accommodate specialist needle configurations and automatically adjust needle speed and frequencies. This is crucial when performing medical tattooing treatments to suit the different structure and tolerance of the skin. All pigments used in the field of permanent cosmetics and medical tattooing are produced under extremely tight guidelines to ensure they are of the highest industry standard and quality. We use medical technology to ensure they are more hygienic, cost effective and altogether safer for performing treatments and adding color in to the skin. We artist professionally trained and licensed to specialize in the field of paramedical permanent cosmetics in order to carry out medical tattooing treatments. At Studio Ivanova we are certified and licensed by the State of CT and work one on one with board certified plastic surgeons

We are not only paramedical tattooers but we are artists first.

At Aesthetic Antidote, our apprentices are continuing their advanced education through intensive master training courses designed to prepare them for real client work with confidence, precision, and professionalism.

Our Scar Camouflage Master Training teaches students how to restore confidence by blending surgical scars, trauma scars, and skin irregularities into the surrounding skin using advanced paramedical tattoo techniques. Apprentices learn color theory for scar tissue, proper needle selection, and safe medical grade protocols so they can achieve natural, undetectable results.

In our 3D Ar**la Tattoo Master Training, apprentices are trained in restorative tattooing techniques that help breast cancer survivors and post surgical patients regain a sense of wholeness. Students learn realistic 3D shading, color matching for different skin tones, and the artistry required to recreate natural looking ar**las.

Our Brow Masterclasses include Microblading, Microshading, Microfeathering, and Nanobrows. These advanced courses focus on creating soft, natural looking brows tailored to each client’s face. Apprentices practice precision hair strokes, shading techniques, and machine work while learning proper mapping, symmetry, and pigment selection.

Our students are building strong portfolios and completing certifications as part of their training. Many are now ready to begin working with models and clients under supervision as they continue developing their skills.

This scar was once a deep surgical scar in the center of my forehead after a brown recluse spider bite caused significant tissue damage. For a long time it was very noticeable and something I felt self conscious about.

Through a series of treatments including microneedling and scar camouflage tattooing, I worked gradually to restore the appearance of the skin. After about five sessions, the scar is now virtually impossible to see and blends naturally with my surrounding skin.

This is exactly why I am so passionate about paramedical tattooing. Scar camouflage is not about perfection, it is about helping skin heal visually and restoring confidence.

Real results take time, patience, and multiple sessions, but the transformation can be life changing.

If you have scars from surgery, injury, or trauma and are wondering if camouflage could help, feel free to reach out.
