We've had several ask us to post recipes... so here's recipe #1! Why do we love this one? Super easy, high in protein, low carb, full of veggies, feels like comfort food, nutritious and delicious!

Gather ingredients. Cook ground beef with chopped onion and garlic. Once cooked, add cabbage right on top. Cover and let cook on low-medium heat until cabbage is soft. Remove lid, stir in tomatoes (with the juice) and Au Jus seasoning. If needed, add broth. Cover and let cook 5-10 more minutes. Serve in bowl with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top!

Staying active during the holidays can be somewhat challenging... we may feel like we're being active with all the events, busy schedules, etc. But are we really staying "active"? Here are a few tips that may help you stay active (and fit) during the holidays! ๐Ÿฆƒ๐ŸŽ„

-Plan ahead! Spend a few minutes on Saturday/Sunday to look at your schedule for the following week. Find a few spots to fit in a workout!
-Make it realistic... you may not be able to stick to your normal regimen during the holidays, that's ok! Staying in the habit of exercising will help you get back to it when the fun is over. 20 minutes a day is better than zero!
-When shopping, park farther away from the door than you usually do.
-Find a holiday accountability partner. Grab a friend and help keep each other moving!
-Go outside... enjoy the temperatures that late November & early December can bring. Take walks at lunch or visit our downtown areas (walk while you shop!).
-Take 10-15 minutes each night to stretch or try a short yoga video before bed. This will help reduce stress, improve sleep, and is a great method of movement!
