Verse: “The LORD is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” — Psalm 91:2 (KJV)
God offers Himself as a refuge when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. In moments of fear or fatigue, He remains a safe and steady shelter. Trust grows as we remember that His protection is constant and faithful. Even in difficult circumstances, our confidence rests securely in Him.
Lord, be our refuge and strength as we begin this day. Help us trust You fully as we care for one another. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen

Public Health Alert: Deadly New Synthetic Opioid Detected in Kentucky

ARH is warning our communities about cychlorphine, a dangerous synthetic opioid recently identified in Kentucky.
This substance—already linked to overdose deaths in neighboring states—is approximately 10 times stronger than fentanyl, making even tiny amounts potentially lethal.
Cychlorphine is often mixed into other illicit drugs without the user’s knowledge, increasing the risk of sudden, severe overdose.

What You Need to Know
• Extremely potent synthetic opioid.
• Recently detected in Kentucky and expected to spread rapidly.
• Often mixed with other substances — users may not know they’re taking it.
• Naloxone (Narcan®) may only partially reverse an overdose — but it can still save lives.

If You Suspect an Overdose
✔ Call 911 immediately
✔ Give naloxone if available
✔ Stay with the person until help arrives

ARH encourages everyone—individuals, families, and community members—to carry naloxone whenever possible. The ingredients of drugs sold illicitly are ever changing, and being prepared can save lives.
